Jon Glink has been working in the financial services industry since 2006. He co-founded the Pelorus Financial Group in 2012 and manages our Financial Planning and Wealth Management Division. He is an Investment Advisor Representative and an Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF). Jon holds Series 7 and 63 registrations as well as Life and Health Insurance licenses in many states, including Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Kentucky, and Florida.
Jon is dedicated to helping individuals pursue strong financial futures. He specializes in comprehensive financial planning for individuals and businesses. Jon develops relationships with clients by taking time to understand everyone’s unique goals and concerns. He guides each client's financial decisions with education and straight-forward advice. Jon focuses his efforts as a Financial Advisor to meeting with clients, uncovering goals, and providing solutions.
Jon is a graduate of Grove City College where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Finance and is currently working on his Master’s Degree in Financial Planning. Jon lives in Jefferson with his wife, Emily, and daughters, Sofia, Isabel, and Adeline. Jon enjoys playing guitar and is an avid Cleveland sports fan.
Nathan Smith joined the Pelorus Financial Group in 2014. He is an Investment Advisor Representative. Nathan holds Series 7 and Series 66 registrations, as well as his Life and Health Insurance licenses in many states, including Ohio and Pennsylvania.
As an active member of the Northeast Ohio community, Nathan is dedicated to helping individuals secure strong financial futures. He specializes in comprehensive financial planning, asset allocation, market research, and 403(b) management. He develops relationships with clients by taking time to understand each client’s goals and concerns. Nathan focuses his efforts as a Financial Advisor on meeting with clients, carrying out research, watching for stock market changes, rebalancing client portfolios, and meeting with companies for product insight.
Nathan is a graduate of Grove City College where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Secondary Education, and has a Master of Arts in Mathematics from Kent State University. Nathan lives in Jefferson with his wife, Mallory, and sons Beckett and Owen. Nathan actively serves in several local schools as an educator for Junior Achievement, which teaches sound financial principles to junior high students. He is a member of the Jefferson Church of the Nazarene, where he serves as a Sunday School teacher and chairs the finance committee.
Thomas Pitrone, CFP, AIF, joined Pelorus Financial Group in 2018. Tom established his company, The Integrity Group, in 1983 and has spent decades building a successful financial services business. He specializes in estate and business succession planning, employer plan management, and tax/retirement planning.
With years of diverse industry-related training and experience, Tom adds to the Pelorus Financial Group a wealth of knowledge and aptitude. He holds Certified Financial Planner designation (CFP), Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF), series 7, series 63, and series 65 licenses. He has testified before the U. S. Congress and both the Ohio House and Senate on Taxation and Health Care issues on behalf of small business.
He has served on the Board of the National Small Business Association and was a delegate to the White House Conference on Small Business in 1994. He served as Chair of the Ohio Small Business Council and a member of the board of the Ohio Chamber. In 2009, Tom was recognized as the Small Business Advocate of the Year by the NSBA.
Tom and his wife, Kate, have six children and nine grandchildren. They feel very blessed to have close relationship with all their children, and host weekly Sunday dinners for everyone who is available to attend. He is dedicated to his church, numerous community and professional organizations, and is an advocate for the arts.
Don Glink is a founding partner of Pelorus Financial Group and manages the activities of our Insurance Department. Don is passionate about educating his clients and our community regarding the healthcare decisions they will face. He oversees numerous community education seminars in Northeast Ohio. Don has devoted many years to navigating the complicated Medicare system. Don is Licensed to sell life and health insurance in many states including Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Kentucky, and Florida. As a broker, he is certified to offer solutions from dozens of carriers.
Don received a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from Salem-Teikyo University in Salem, WV. It was at college that he met his wife Kelly. They were married in 2001 and now live in Painesville. Don and Kelly have three children - Annalise, Lorelei, and Keegan. Don enjoys spending time with his family. He is an excellent cook and spends as much time as possible perfecting his golf game.
Ron Glink is a founding member of Pelorus Financial Group. He has over 20 years of experience in the field of Insurance and he now specializes in navigating the Medicare system. He spends countless hours educating individuals in Ashtabula County. He is a passionate advocate for those in need of help.
Ron has a degree in Computer Science from Youngstown State University and is a lifetime resident of Ashtabula County. He and his wife Bonnie married in 1975 and started growing their family the very next year. Ron is proud father to three adult sons. Ron officially has seven grandchildren, but is “Papa” to many more. He is an active member of his church, where he volunteers regularly. Ron is a life long learner and truly enjoys technology. He can be found in the pool with the grandkids as often as possible throughout the summer.

Andy Preston joined Pelorus Financial Group in 2013. He holds Life, Health, Property, and Casualty Insurance licenses in Ohio and Pennsylvania. Andy’s wide-ranging industry knowledge allows him to guide his clients through the complicated Medicare system. He offers Medicare basics seminars throughout Lake, Geauga, and Cuyahoga counties. He also runs Pelorus’s Property and Casualty Division, which partners with top-rated carriers to provide competitive coverage for home, auto, and business insurance.
Andy has a Bachelor of Arts from Malone University and a Master of Arts from The University of Akron. He and his wife, Margaret, married in 2009. They have a son, Oliver, and a daughter, Rosie. Andy and Margaret live in Jefferson. Andy is active in the Ashtabula Runners Club and participates in several races throughout the year. He also enjoys reading, biking, and Latin.

Shauna Tucker has been with Pelorus Financial Group since 2012. She is dedicated to giving a personal touch when educating and assisting her clients through the Medicare process. She loves to see how the education we provide at our seminars translates to comfort in making big decisions. Her aim is to understand each of her client’s unique circumstances and provide targeted solutions. Shauna devotes much of her time to research and advocating on behalf of her clients.
Shauna has Bachelor of Arts in Education from Mount Vernon Nazarene University. She is a lifelong resident of Jefferson and lives there with her husband and high school sweetheart Matt. In 2014 Matt and Shauna welcomed their beautiful daughter, Breelyn. In 2017 the Tucker family welcomed their baby boy, Grayson. Much of her spare time is spent with her children, but Shauna also loves to read, enjoys the outdoors, going to concerts. She volunteers at the Jefferson Church of The Nazarene with community outreach and children's ministries.

Kristen Bush works for Pelorus Financial Group as an Independent Insurance Advisor specializing in Life and Health coverage. Kristen worked for thirteen years as a surgical assistant, most recently at Tri-Point medical center. Her unique background in the healthcare industry makes her a valuable asset to our team. She enjoys every opportunity to build relationships with her clients and provide ongoing assistance and education.
Kristen and her husband Tom married in 2004. The Bush family is often on the go and Kristen spends as much of her free time as possible with her two boys, Brennan and Gavin. Kristen regularly volunteers her time as a barista at her church’s café.

Bryan Lawson is the manager of daily operations of Pelorus Financial Group’s Property and Casualty Division. Bryan has a degree in Human Resource Management from Cuyahoga Community College. His business acumen, communication skills and focus on developing relationships make him a great fit for the group and an excellent resource for his clients.
He is originally from Pennsylvania but has lived in Ohio for more than twenty years. Bryan is family oriented and enjoys being just a short jaunt from aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents in Northeast Ohio and Pennsylvania.
As a self proclaimed game nerd, his gaming interests span from video games to college football (OH-IO) to board games. Bryan is particularly drawn to activities in nature and enjoys hunting, camping, and mudding. He is on the sound production team for many of his church's worship services and plays volleyball and softball on his church's teams.
Sarah Glink joined the Pelorus Financial Group staff as our office manager in 2015. A prior resident of the great state of North Carolina, Sarah traded sunshine for snow to fill the role of Pelorus Financial Group’s administrative brain. Among her tasks are welcoming clients into the office, answering phones, processing paperwork, and managing Pelorus’ seminar schedule.
Sarah and her husband, Ron, married in 2004. They have one beautiful daughter, Blair. More than anything, she loves spending time with her family. She is active in the worship ministry and with the coffee shop at her church. Sarah rounds out some of her life away from work by reading, quilting, and biking.
Bonnie Glink has played a key role in the success of our business from the onset of operations. Bonnie has spent many of her professional years working in insurance. She works diligently to fill many important administrative roles.
Bonnie and her husband, Ron, are lifetime residents of Ashtabula County. She is proud mother to three adult sons. Bonnie and Ron are grandparents to seven grandkids. Bonnie’s interests play a large role in her community involvement. She is an accomplished quilter and president of the Ashtabula Friendly Quilters Guild. She is a member of the Jefferson Church of the Nazarene where her time is dedicated to numerous ministries including the worship ministry and the children’s ministry.
